Best Practices Committee
Mecklenburg County's Local Management Entity has committed itself to supporting and promoting Best Practice Models of Care, therefore holding all county Providers of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Abuse services (MH/DD/SAS) to these same expectations. In an effort to provide information and further the education, cultural change and Person-Centered movement outlined in Best Practice Models, Best Practice Committees have been developed. These groups are managed by providers, family members and individuals receiving services. Everyone involved at any level of the MH/DD/SAS system are strongly encouraged to join/attend any/all of the Best Practice Committee(s). For Adult Mental Health Services this is the Recovery Model Best Practices Committee.
